Buildings

The property features two houses, one original farm cottage built around the 1920ies and the main house build in1985.

There are many more farm buildings. 1  barn used for storing hay, one of the oldest milking sheds in the area currently used as an animal shelter, an animal handling facility and a shed currently used as a garage for a van and storage of firewood and timber.

A historic army shed can be used as a garden shed and a hen house with run completes the long list of outbuildings.

Both buildings are sitting somewhat lower than the surrounding area. This gives them perfect protection from winds from all directions but doesn't affect the sunshine hours.

Land

The 4.5 hectare of land are mainly pasture in rolling contours. There is a small pocket of bush with a small creek and some wetland at the lower part of the property. This gives you the perfect balance between farm land and some native forest to relax.

The pasture is fenced into 5 paddocks. The bigger paddock could easily split into three which would give you 7 paddocks for good stock rotation.

If you want to start slow there is always the option to lease out the land for grazing which brings in good money or cut hay and sell the bales.

All fences have a main powered electric wire. Fences are sheep/goat proved. The majority of the fence lines are only 2 years old.

The property comes with approx. 400 sqm of vegetable garden, fenced off, which should be more than enough to support your family with everything you need. Combine this with the eggs from your chicken and there aren't many things you need to buy in the shops.

The houses are set in a landscaped garden environment with loads of fruit trees and mature shelter trees.

Property access is by a looped driveway. Easy to drive around with the horse float or the boat trailer.
